Join us for an enriching workshop designed specifically for yoga teachers who want to deepen their understanding of sequencing and creating a thoughtful, balanced vinyasa class. In this workshop, you’ll learn the art of creating vinyasa sequences that encourage body awareness, mindfulness, and integrating breath with movement, all while keeping the flow of movement smooth and intentional. You’ll also learn how to make your classes inclusive for students of all levels, ensuring everyone feels supported and challenged at their own pace.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll explore:
Sequencing Poses: How to craft a sequence that is both challenging and accessible, building from a gentle warm-up to a strong peak and safely transitioning into a restorative cool-down.
Creating a Music Playlist: Discover how to choose and blend music that enhances the flow and energy of your class, guiding your students through their practice.
Warm-Up & Cool-Down Techniques: Understand the importance of these phases and learn to create effective, mindful transitions that prepare the body for movement and encourage relaxation afterward.
Inclusivity in Your Classes: Learn how to offer variations that allow students of all levels—beginners to advanced practitioners—to experience the benefits of the practice. Gain strategies for teaching with accessibility and mindfulness in mind, creating an environment where everyone can thrive.
By the end of this workshop, you will have the skills and confidence to design and teach a well-rounded, intentional vinyasa class, integrating slow flow techniques that can be applied to any level of practitioner.
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate for 10 continuing education hours through Yoga Alliance, supporting your professional development as a yoga instructor.
Take your teaching to the next level—join us and enrich your practice and your students’ experiences!
